Hawaii Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke was indicted on charges of criminal conspiracy to commit bribery, bribery, and falsifying candidate committee reports. The indictment alleges she accepted a $35,000 bribe from businessman Tobi Solidum linked to a COVID-19 testing contract. Solidum and four others were also indicted as part of a state corruption investigation.

Other individuals including Ryan Yamane, Ford Fuchigami, and Leo Asunción were also indicted as part of the state corruption investigation.
