Mt. Juliet Police

A traffic stop for a seatbelt violation in Mt. Juliet led to the recovery of a handgun stolen from Nashville in September. Mt. Juliet Police conducted the stop and retrieved the stolen firearm.

Two women are facing shoplifting charges after Mt. Juliet Police investigated two separate shoplifting incidents at Target and Academy Sports. One of the women is a 55-year-old woman.

Two women wanted by Rutherford County were arrested by Mt. Juliet Police during a traffic stop linked to an ongoing organized retail theft investigation. The arrests occurred as part of efforts to combat retail theft in the area.

In the first half of 2026, Mt. Juliet police apprehended 342 wanted individuals, 301 of whom were not residents of the city.

A man was indicted by a Wilson County Grand Jury for two counts of aggravated robbery and property theft following an April 7-Eleven robbery in Lebanon, Tennessee. Police linked the incident to a carjacking and subsequent crash during a police pursuit involving a stolen vehicle and a tow truck collision in Old Hickory Boulevard.

An 18-year-old Nashville teen was arrested after allegedly admitting to vehicle burglaries following his stop for discarding a plastic bag containing pills. Police found stolen items and identification from victims in his possession, and he was taken into custody by Metro Nashville Police.
