A traffic stop in Mt. Juliet led to the arrest of a Hendersonville woman who had been a fugitive since December 2025. Police found heroin, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property during the stop. The Mt. Juliet Police Department credited their officers' vigilance for the arrest and noted 342 wanted individuals were apprehended in the first six months of 2026.

Law enforcement and emergency personnel in Mt. Juliet responded to 15 flooding incidents during a severe storm, rescuing residents trapped by rising waters. A woman was saved from her car on Lebanon Road, and a family of six was evacuated from a flooded home using a raft. No injuries were reported, and roads reopened by Wednesday morning.

An 18-year-old Nashville teen was arrested after allegedly admitting to vehicle burglaries following his stop for discarding a plastic bag containing pills. Police found stolen items and identification from victims in his possession, and he was taken into custody by Metro Nashville Police.

A traffic stop in Mt. Juliet for a window tint violation led to the arrest of a 35-year-old Nashville man for possessing marijuana packaged for resale and an AR-style rifle. Four children aged 12, 11, 5, and 4 were in the vehicle during the stop, resulting in child endangerment charges. The driver, prohibited from firearm possession due to a prior felony conviction, was charged with multiple offenses including driving on a revoked license.
