Rodney Pierce, 38, of Buffalo, NY, was sentenced to 72 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine. The conviction was announced by U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo and sentenced by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.

Michael Torres, a Rochester man, was sentenced to three months in prison and three months of home detention for stealing $168,000 from his employer. He was also ordered to pay $136,679 in restitution.

A federal grand jury has indicted Joseph Fontanez Walker, 35, of Jamestown, NY, on a narcotics conspiracy charge. The charge carries a minimum 10-year prison sentence, a maximum life sentence, and a $10 million fine.

Nazir Binhuguley, 24, of Buffalo, NY, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, which carries a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison and a maximum of life. Jeremy Hinman, 26, of Buffalo, NY, pleaded guilty to possession and transfer of a machinegun. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Chad Burgess, a 40-year-old man from Rochester, NY, was sentenced to 88 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara imposed the sentence after Burgess was convicted of the charge.

Ruben Medina, a 20-year-old from Jamestown, NY, was sentenced to 84 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The conviction was announced by U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo, and the sentence was imposed by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.

Torrance Bailey, 44, of Buffalo, NY, was sentenced to 138 months in prison for conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine and fentanyl. The conviction was announced by U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo and the sentence was imposed by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.

Quentin L. Yancey and Johnny B. Mays, both of Rochester, NY, were charged with narcotics conspiracy in a superseding indictment. Yancey faces additional charges of using a drug-involved premises and six counts of money laundering. The charges carry a mandatory minimum 10-year prison sentence and a maximum life sentence.

Jeryel Winfield, 52, of Binghamton, NY, pleaded guilty to narcotics conspiracy, facing a mandatory minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 40 years. The case was announced by U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo and adjudicated before U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.

Eric Hagen, a 57-year-old from Fort Erie, Canada, pleaded guilty to importing meth and fentanyl into the U.S., facing up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine. The case was announced by U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo and handled by Judge Richard J. Arcara.

John Weinmann, a 57-year-old Rochester man, was sentenced to three years' probation and a $2,000 fine for receiving kickbacks under a federal healthcare program. The case is part of the Trump Administration’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud.

Mario Pittman Jr., a 32-year-old from Buffalo, NY, was sentenced to 114 months in prison for distributing methamphetamine. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced the conviction and sentencing by Judge Richard J. Arcara.

Renee M. Thompson, a 53-year-old woman from North Lauderdale, Florida, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States. She faces up to five years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and must pay $28,500 in restitution.
