Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek

A family of three was stranded and hiding off a highway in Central Florida after their car was allegedly forced off the road by another driver during a road rage incident. The suspect, Michael Jeffries Spires, reportedly brake-checked their vehicle, threw objects, and used a Precision Immobilization Technique before being arrested. Spires faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and child abuse, though no injuries were reported.
