On July 10, the Colorado Springs Police Department used a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT maneuver) to stop a suspect following a pursuit on South Powers Boulevard near the airport. The incident occurred just after 12:15 a.m. when K9 officers located the suspect's vehicle.
