The tablet is available for adults and children 12+ and offers 12-hour pain control, with Kenvue securing a three-year exclusivity period for the formulation.

Poison centers report a significant rise in diphenhydramine (Benadryl) abuse among teens aged 13-19, linked to social media trends. Cases increased by 32% from 2024 to 2025 and more than doubled in the first five months of 2026, with intentional misuse rising from 7.3% to 13%. The advisory warns of severe health risks, including hallucinations, seizures, and heart complications.
