Interstate 485

A 19-year-old was struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing Interstate 485 in Charlotte, as reported by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol on August 4 at approximately 10:20 p.m.

A 41-year-old man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for a shooting along Interstate 485 in southwest Charlotte that injured two people. He pleaded guilty to the charges as part of the case.
