A Florida man was arrested at an IHOP restaurant in Orlando after allegedly stabbing a rideshare driver who refused to provide a ride without an app request. The suspect, Jovaughn Nathan Matthie, was charged with attempted murder and later found with a knife in his pocket during his arrest.

A Cutler Bay man and woman were arrested after a shooting outside an IHOP that left two men wounded. The suspects, Kelton Abston and Mari Carmen Zelaya, argued with the victims over being too loud, leading to a physical altercation and gunfire. Both face charges related to the incident.

Applebee’s and IHOP are opening their first dual-branded restaurant in Inglewood, Los Angeles, later this month. The 24-hour location will serve menu items from both chains, including exclusive dishes.
