Australian researchers found that supermarket foods claiming to be 'natural' or 'sustainable' are mostly using marketing terms rather than verified claims. A survey of 27,000 Australian supermarket items revealed that some products boasting environmental benefits had higher emissions than unlabelled counterparts. The study was conducted by researchers from the George Institute for Global Health.
