Five people were hospitalized after a crash on Northeast 163rd Street near Northeast 34th Avenue in North Miami and North Miami Beach. Three victims were taken to HCA Florida Aventura Hospital’s trauma center, two with minor injuries to an unnamed local hospital, and two others were assessed on scene with no complaints. The crash involved two vehicles, with one victim trapped.

A body was found near the emergency room entrance of HCA Florida Aventura Hospital. Police are investigating to determine if the individual was dumped, died while seeking care, or was harmed on hospital property. 7News is seeking additional details from local authorities.

A 25-year-old Massachusetts man was arrested for allegedly punching a 62-year-old woman at an Aventura bus depot after she refused his sexual advances. The attack, which occurred on Feb. 4, resulted in the victim sustaining multiple facial fractures and being hospitalized as a trauma alert.

A Miami Gardens woman, Milagros De La Caridad Navarro, 35, surrendered to police after allegedly shooting another woman on February 22. She faces two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of aggravated battery with a weapon causing great bodily harm. The investigation included witness interviews, photo lineups, and surveillance video showing Navarro shooting multiple shots toward the victim. Navarro is being held without bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, and the motive remains unclear.

A North Miami man, James Mackenzie, is accused of stabbing another man seven times at his home, causing life-threatening injuries, including a wound to the heart. The victim remains in critical condition, and Mackenzie faces a second-degree attempted murder charge. A folding pocketknife with blood was found in Mackenzie's home, and surveillance audio captured the victim pleading for medical help.
