Wilkhari Levale Jones, a 25-year-old man, was sentenced to 13 years in state prison for his role in a 2020 ambush and shooting involving Miami Police Detective Erica Socarras. The sentence was part of a plea deal after a traffic stop led to gunfire targeting an unmarked police vehicle. Two other co-defendants, Antranard Womble and Wilzavier Le’Varick Jones, had previously accepted plea deals.
