Arizona water use up in the air pending Nevada lawsuit

Nevada sued the federal government regarding mandatory Colorado River cuts, adding significant uncertainty for Arizona officials. Under the bureau’s plan, Arizona is expected to lose more than 1.8 million acre-feet by the end of water year 2028.
