Congo receives more than 16,000 doses of Ebola vaccine as it grapples with unprecedented outbreak

Congo received over 16,000 doses of the Ervebo Ebola vaccine to combat an outbreak caused by the rare Bundibugyo virus. The country is facing one of its fastest recorded outbreaks, which has been severely hampered by armed conflict and lack of critical infrastructure.
