Local kids learn basketball skills at a camp with DC police officers

More than a dozen D.C.-area kids attended a four-day basketball camp run by Sixth District Police officers. The program was held at the Boys and Girls Club on Benning Road and taught skills such as ball handling, passing, and shooting. This second annual event aimed not only to improve skills but also to build trust between the community and the police.
