Woman nearly loses arm in attack by foster dog she saved from euthanasia
Liz Shidler, an Arizona resident, was attacked in her backyard by a dog named Benny after fostering him from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. The attack resulted in serious injuries, including tears to an artery that nearly caused her to lose her left arm. Despite undergoing emergency surgery and hospitalization, Shidler remains unable to use her arms.
