First group of deportees arrives in troubled Haiti after US ends TPS program
The U.S. deported more than 160 people to Haiti following a legal battle to end Temporary Protected Status. Due to ongoing gang violence and danger in Port-au-Prince, the plane landed in northern Haitian city of Cap-Haïtien. Activists have warned that Haiti lacks sufficient resources to help those being deported.
