LA County Rescue Team Returning from Colombia Quake Mission

An urban search and rescue team from the Los Angeles County Fire Department is scheduled to return Thursday evening from Colombia after assisting with recovery efforts following a deadly earthquake. The USA-02 department team was initially deployed by the U.S. State Department and included experts from the county fire department alongside structural specialists from the county Department of Public Works.
