A 15-year-old boy from Detroit has been charged following the fatal stabbing of 22-year-old Ejon Banks. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 26, 2026, near Longfellow Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard. Prosecutors allege that a physical altercation escalated when the teenager stabbed Banks multiple times with a knife and also allegedly took his handgun before fleeing.
