Florida set to carry out 13th execution this year in nation's busiest death chamber

A Florida man named William Frances Silvia is scheduled for execution on Tuesday, becoming the state's 13th prisoner put to death this year. He was convicted of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder following a 2006 attack on his estranged wife, Patricia Silvia, and her mother, Betty Woodard.
