Stolen bronze statue honoring boy who died from cancer recovered; 2 suspects arrested

Two people have been arrested for allegedly stealing a bronze statue that honors a boy who died from cancer. The sculpture was first reported missing from Jakey Duque Park in Miami Lakes, but detectives recovered it on Aug. 12. Both suspects face grand theft charges, and the memorial statue is valued at approximately $8,000.
