Federal Judge Blocks Trump Plan to Suspend Federal Funding to LAHSA

A judge blocked the Trump administration’s decision to suspend federal funding to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) over fraud allegations. U.S. District Judge David Carter issued an injunction allowing LAHSA access to federal homelessness funding for fiscal year 2026, thereby protecting housing and services for more than 11,000 people.
