Department of Corrections officer arrested for sexual exploitation of a child, weapons charges

A Department of Corrections officer was arrested on charges including sexual exploitation of a child and possession of a dangerous weapon. The investigation, launched by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation after receiving a cybertip from NCMEC concerning Gage Vidal Montoya in Trinidad, found no evidence that misconduct occurred at work. The officer has been placed on administrative leave.
