Tropical Storm Dolphin caused heavy rain and flooding in eastern China after making landfall as a typhoon, raising warnings of severe risks in areas like Yueqing. The storm also intensified monsoon rains that led to landslides in Luzon, Philippines, resulting in five deaths and contributing to a total death toll of 15 over several days.
