Hawaii rep cruises to Dem primary win after challenger arrested for beach brawl

Progressive Rep. Jill Tokuda cruised to victory in her primary, setting up a showdown with Republican state Sen. Brenton Awa in November. During the race, one of her longshot opponents was arrested for a violent altercation at Keawakapu Beach after allegedly threatening a man and pulling out a knife. Tokuda stated that any individual running for office or a public citizen must be held accountable for their actions.
