‘We saw death and suffering’: Dozens of Nigerians freed after 6 months in jihadi captivity

Over 300 kidnap victims, including dozens of Nigerians rescued from jihadi captivity, were handed over to authorities in Ilorin. Many survivors described enduring six months of suffering and witnessing death during the ordeal, which began when militants stormed the village of Woro on Feb. 3. The freed captives were found emaciated with various injuries and emotional scars.
