Number of cyclosporiasis cases in Michigan jumps to more than 12,000
The number of cyclosporiasis cases in Michigan has risen to 12,218, with 710 new cases reported in a single day. Two deaths and 193 hospitalizations have been linked to the outbreak, which health officials suggest may be connected to lettuce or salad greens as the source.
