Man charged with killing uncle, attempting to kill another in Cornelius

A 21-year-old man, Johnquise Patterson, is charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder for killing his uncle, Johnny Johnson, and trying to kill another uncle in Cornelius. The incident occurred at an apartment complex on Meridian Street, where 11 others, including seven children, were present. Patterson is in jail without bond.
