Man arrested after deadly shooting at Gaston County apartment complex

A man was arrested after a deadly shooting at an apartment complex in Gaston County. James Lewis, 45, is charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon in connection with the death of Terrill C. Gilmore, 34. The shooting occurred at Greenview Meadows Apartments, and Lewis was later found holding his 3-year-old child at Hudson Landings Apartments before surrendering peacefully.
