Woman files lawsuit after alleged cancer misdiagnosis leads to unnecessary hysterectomy

A Georgia woman filed a lawsuit against Kaiser Permanente and laboratory staff after an alleged tissue sample mix-up led to her misdiagnosis with endometrial uterine cancer and subsequent unnecessary hysterectomy. The plaintiff claims another person’s sample was mislabeled as hers, resulting in a full hysterectomy despite no cancer evidence in a CT scan.
