2 arrested after more than 70 vehicles pulled over in Mt. Juliet school zones on first day of classes

Mt. Juliet Police conducted 72 traffic stops in school zones on the first day of classes, resulting in two arrests. One arrest involved a man with a revoked license and outstanding warrant, while the other involved a woman found with methamphetamine. Officers issued 50 warnings and 21 citations, including 15 for cell phone use while driving.
