Uganda’s military unveils statue of Netanyahu’s brother who died in 1976 Entebbe hostage rescue

Uganda's military unveiled a statue of Yonatan Netanyahu, an Israeli commando killed during the 1976 Entebbe hostage rescue operation. The monument, located at Entebbe airport, was commissioned by Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Ugandan military chief and son of President Yoweri Museveni, to honor Netanyahu's courage. The operation, led by Israeli forces, saved 103 of 106 hostages taken by Palestinian and German hijackers.
