Body found floating in Dania Beach canal

A body was found floating in a canal in Dania Beach, prompting an investigation by the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Deputies and the BSO Marine Unit recovered the body near the 1400 block of Northwest Eighth Street, and the Homicide Unit is examining the circumstances of the death.
