‘Once in a lifetime’: 14-foot hammerhead shark found dead on NC beach

A 14-foot scalloped hammerhead shark was found dead on a North Carolina beach after washing ashore twice. Experts noted evidence of fishing interaction, including a tail fin cut and jaw puncture, but the exact cause of death remains unknown.
