Chile’s Atacama Lithium Plan: US$3 Billion Bet on Water
Novandino Litio, a joint venture between Codelco and SQM, has submitted a US$3 billion plan to extend lithium production at Chile’s Salar de Atacama until 2060. The Salar Futuro project entered Chile’s environmental review system and involves advanced technology for water management.
