Man whose slain brother led Mexican cartel pleads guilty to drug charges in US
Antonio Oseguera Cervantes, brother of slain Mexican cartel leader Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes (known as El Mencho), pleaded guilty in Washington to conspiring to traffic cocaine and methamphetamine into the U.S. He faces a mandatory minimum 15-year prison sentence and was transferred from Mexico to the U.S. for prosecution in February 2025.
