Hong Kong’s air safety watchdog classified a Cathay Pacific Airways tail strike during an aborted landing at Hong Kong Airport on July 3 as 'abnormal runway contact'. The incident involved flight CX509, which was en route from Tokyo’s Narita airport and carried 203 passengers and 12 crew members.
