RedNote eyes US$2.2 billion data centre as China ramps up AI infrastructure, source says
RedNote, the Chinese lifestyle social media platform also known as Xiaohongshu domestically, is planning a US$2.2 billion data centre in Inner Mongolia's Ulanqab or west of the city as part of China's AI infrastructure push. The 600-megawatt project has a budget of around 15... and is located in an area known for wind and renewable energy.
