Family seeks release of Venezuelan woman detained by ICE

Family members of Claudia Caglianone, a Venezuelan woman detained by ICE, protested outside a Pompano facility demanding her release. Caglianone, who moved to the U.S. in 2017 and has pending asylum and Temporary Protected Status applications, was detained at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz visited the facility, expressing concern about unnecessary detentions.
