Babysitter indicted on upgraded charges in relation to 11-year-old’s death during boat ride

Kristen Gerrie, 41, faces upgraded felony charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangering children following the accidental drowning of 11-year-old Angelique Cunningham during a Lake Erie boat ride. Authorities found both Angelique and Jonathan Ciha, 38, dead in the lake, with Gerrie as the sole witness who failed to call 911 or notify Angelique’s mother.
