Babysitter indicted on upgraded charges in relation to 11-year-old’s death during boat ride

Kristen Gerrie, 41, was indicted on upgraded charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangering children after an 11-year-old girl, Angelique Cunningham, drowned during a boat ride in Lake Erie. Authorities found Angelique and another individual, Jonathan Ciha, dead in the lake, with both deaths ruled accidental drownings. Gerrie, the babysitter, did not call 911 and returned to shore before authorities were alerted.
