Turkish police detained former actor Erdal Besikcioglu, mayor of Etimesgut Municipality, in raids targeting opposition officials. He is investigated for irregularities and forgery in municipal tenders, alongside other municipal officials and company representatives. Over 50 suspects were detained, and searches were conducted at 71 locations.
