Turkey detains another opposition district mayor, others as crackdown expands

Turkish authorities detained an opposition Istanbul district mayor and five others over alleged building and occupancy permit irregularities, as part of an expanding legal crackdown on municipalities led by the main party opposing President Tayyip Erdogan.
