4 months’ jail for security guard who dumped building resident’s cat in rubbish bin
A Hong Kong security guard, Chou Wing-lok, was sentenced to four months in prison for tying up a resident’s cat in a plastic bag and dumping it in a rubbish bin, leading to the animal’s probable death in a landfill. The court convicted him of one count of animal cruelty.
