TSA shares passengers’ personal information with immigration enforcement, documents show
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has shared passengers' personal information with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since May 2025 under a formal data-sharing agreement, contradicting earlier congressional testimony denying such data collection. Documents obtained by American Oversight reveal this practice, which allows ICE to access information on noncitizens with expired visas or pending legal status.
