Suit alleges Homeland Security targeted people observing, protesting immigration agents

Three individuals sued the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for allegedly illegally recording them and revoking their status in trusted traveler programs while they observed or protested immigration enforcement activities. The lawsuit claims DHS violated privacy laws, administrative procedures, and the First Amendment by using facial recognition and other technologies to target protesters, including incidents in Minneapolis where two observers were killed.
