Suspect in Berlin attack near Pride gathering shot dead by police
A 21-year-old suspect, Abdul B, was shot dead by police in Berlin's Spandau district after driving a minivan into a crowd near a Pride gathering in Tiergarten park. The attack, which killed one person and injured 29, occurred near the Brandenburg Gate during Christopher Street Day. Abdul B had a history of criminal offenses, radicalization, and ties to the Islamist scene.
