Attack on Berlin pride parade leaves 1 dead, 16 injured
A 21-year-old man drove a van into a crowd at Berlin’s Christopher Street Day parade, killing one person and injuring 16. The suspect, Abdul B., is linked to Berlin’s Islamist scene and remains at large. The attack, condemned by Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, occurred near Brandenburg Gate and Tiergarten park.
