Georgia’s Okefenokee Swamp among new additions to join UNESCO’s World Heritage List

Georgia’s Okefenokee Swamp, China’s Jingdezhen porcelain industry sites, and South Korea’s tidal flats were added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The Okefenokee Swamp is recognized for its biodiversity and 5,000-year environmental record, while South Korea expanded its tidal flats listing to include four coastal wetlands.
