Minneapolis man charged for firing gun near Nicollet Avenue

A 29-year-old Minneapolis man was charged with reckless discharge of a firearm and possessing a firearm after a violent conviction following an incident near Nicollet Avenue. Surveillance footage showed him firing a gun in an alley before fleeing, and he has prior convictions for illegal firearm possession and first-degree aggravated robbery.
